You know those jars of lemon curd you see at Farmer’s Markets or in the fancy parts of grocery stores? They’re always so expensive! If you’re a huge connoisseur, then obviously the price is worth it. But if you just enjoy the flavor now and again, then we have a great recipe for you, and one that will definitely save you money!
Our recipe is made with our freshly squeezed lemonade, made with 100% real lemons! It tastes just like homemade, but without any of the work. When you use this it produces an extra zesty flavor everyone is sure to love.
We enjoy lemon curd on toast, waffles, pancakes or right out of the jar (it’s that good!). While we don’t recommend always eating it by the spoonful, once or twice won’t hurt! It’s also great in summer desserts!

Cook time 15 minutes
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
5 egg yolks
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
Directions
Place all ingredients into medium saucepan. Stir until combined.
Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens, 12-15 minutes.
Remove from pan, and pour into jar or glass bowl.
